Time Travel

I like the Terminator idea, arrive with nothing. Have going back work the same way, you can home with nothing.

There was a an old Teenage Mutant Nijna Turtle supplement, it that dealt with Time Travel and Paradoxs. I forgot the name of it. I may still have it at home.

I think time travel should work like Terminator... The PC's arrive nekid. Then you would have to focus your game mechanics on the skills a PC needed to have to use a flint lock, fly starship, read an ancient scroll, etc.

Yeah, that's one of my preferred models, too. Another one I like is from the TV series "Seven Days", where the time machine could only go back one week. Then technology differences aren't really an issue, and I can focus on all the causality/paradox weirdness that makes time travel a fun topic for gaming.

Hmm, I need to check this forum more often as I usually at least in a thread about time travel. Just as a general FYI, a time travel supplement by me should be coming to market by the end of the year (pdf first and then limited-edition print I'm told). Featuring d20 and d20Modern rules and OGC (culled from about 20 sources), this book will be your one-stop toolbox for time travel rules and related information. No matter what kind of d20 you're playing with, this book will be for you!
