[Tiny OT] How many EN Worlders do you personally know?

Ok, the question is... How many EN Worlder's do you personally know?

Me, I've mainly conversed with EN Worlders online or through e-mail. Guys like Darrin Drader, Kevin Kulp, and several other prominent EN World Citizens. (Sometimes I feel so isolated. Man, I wish I had the 'scratch' to get out more.)

I don't ever get a chance to meet my gaming peers, not even the ones here in Edmonton. (Latency, are you out there? You haven't e-mailed me back in almost a month.)

Anyway, it makes me wonder how many of you have (not just met once) really got to know someone else who spends time here on EN World's messageboard.

And the next question is how do you know him or her. Is he or she a family member, local gaming group member, or something else entirely? Did you met him or her at a Con and discover you were both EN World Citizens or was it the opposite way?

Anyway, I gotta go to sleep now. Just thought I'd post one of those threads that makes you think... at least, that's the goal.

Cheers!

None.

Well, that's not true...a college buddy of mine has the name Ashramry...he has, I believe, maybe 1 post here, and even then he said he had some trouble I think.

Besides that, it'd be nice to meet some EN Worlders at GenCon.

Capellan, who I game with regularly but originally met on the Boards.

That about covers it, unless there were other enworld Brisbanites that were at the Big Weekend and I didn't realise it...

me, myself and I.

seriously. I know officially one but I believe 2-3 have names here but never reply so who knows.

'allo Bill!

IF you guys are still avtive here- 'allo Eric, Patty and Scott!

Living as I do at the ends of the earth, according to some, I've met none of which I'm aware.

Hell, I only know about four other people around here who actually play D&D, but I haven't gone out of my way to meet many either.

Don't forget the Padre and Mantreus. Also Drakius and Yip, who occasionally post here. I suppose the question is whether they really qualify as part of the ENworld community or not ... maybe post count does matter, at least for some things :)

On my upcoming holiday, I should meet randomling, Mark, Sniktch and his group, and just about anyone who makes it to Gencon.

That's right. It's rather sad but Bagpuss rings me up every time he needs to undergo a bowel movement. We're hoping that with time, therapy and a great deal of support he will one day be able to overcome these limitations. :p
