Tiny Vs. Nekokaburi.... (Old Man Ki-Rin Judging!)

"Let us see if the Jade Turtle can shift his bulk to a challenge of speed. Noble Ancient of the Ki-Rin, I propose a six flag speed strategy match, using judge-generated hands."

Nekokaburi's First Hand:
1: The fox slays the plain where it bows close to the Baths at Lo Xiang; removes the descent of the flower!

2: The sword strikes by the well; shields the energy of the tree!

3: The mantis sings atop the glade; dominates the foray of the venom!

4: The lotus blossom devours the prairie; negates the edge of the stone!

5: The kama assaults the brush; blocks the chi of the isle!

Tiny's First Hand:
1: The hammer glides through the orchard; shields the motion of the storm!

2: The unicorn tracks from the waterfall; negates the pain of the sands! *yen*

3: The scorpion swims atop the canyon; guards against the gaze of the grave!

4: The manticore punches across the foothills; dodges the quickening of the mountain!

5: The lizard eliminates the ravine; conceals the edge of the mire!

The chubby little flag boy raises twelve flags, six for each fighter. Tiny's flags are green and Nekokaburi's are gold; all ripple lightly in the morning breeze. The judge speaks: "The ancient masters have decreed this match to take place at the prairie east of the Point of the Wailing Bones on the dawn of the cherry blossom."

Nekokaburi opens with the deceptively powerful Reaching Blossom Form, rushing in to feint an attack against Tiny, then gaining a point of contact and manipulating it.

Once Nekokaburi gains a point of contact with his opponent, he uses that to defuse any attacks Tiny makes against him, and force Tiny into a situation where there is no place in the arena of battle for him - he cannot attack, cannot defend with Nekokaburi acting as his shadow, acutely aware of his next move.

Tiny tries to land a punch across every part of Nekokaburi's body.....

4: The manticore punches across the foothills; dodges the quickening of the mountain!

“Nekokaburi attemots a powerful grappling attack, while Tiny endeavors to counterattack while maintaining distance from his foe. Both moves are strong. Tiny makes good use of synergy between the Foothills and Mountain styles, while Nekokaburi defends somewhat aptly against those styles. However, Nekokaburi makes good use of the terrain. The lotus blossom spreads across the prairie, then engulfs the foothills and the mountain; point to Nekokaburi.”

One flag Nekokaburi, zero flags Tiny.

Tiny tries the lizard style to try and make something happen.....

5: The lizard eliminates the ravine; conceals the edge of the mire!

Nekokaburi uses the speed of the Darting Fox Form to attempt a vicious backhand to Tiny's knees, to throw the huge warrior off-balance.

1: The fox slays the plain where it bows close to the Baths at Lo Xiang; removes the descent of the flower!

"Both moves are quite strong. Nekokaburi's attack is arguably the stronger, but his defense is relatively weak. Tiny, for his part, employs a clever and subtle defense, luring his opponent close where his advantage in size and strength can come into play. The fox stumbles in the mire and falls prey to the lizard; point to Tiny."

One flag Tiny, one flag Nekokaburi.

Tiny lets fly his great warhammer and it glides effortlessly toward his opponent with blazing speed....

1: The hammer glides through the orchard; shields the motion of the storm!
