I was just wondering if any ENworlders are playing this PC game. I'm thinking of picking it up, all the reviews say its a Diablo 2 clone, and I've been looking for another game like that. Wondering what other ENworlders think of it that played it.

I've been enjoying it, though I haven't played it in a few days. I didn't play any Diablo, so can't judge there, but I have heard the same comparisons.

I tryed to install the demo from PCgamer and after it installed it asked em to restart, and take all CD's out of the drives. So I take the CD out of the drive and then I get the error message that no CD is in the drive, and my screen locks so i have to put tue CD back in my DVD drive. Then after I restart my computer, i can't find the titan quest icon, I try to reinstall and it tells me I can't because its intalled, I go to unintall and i get some weird error, so it won't unistall either.
I think i'll pass on this one.

I hear it comes with a level editor, so I hope it will be very mod friendly. PC Gamer gave it a favorable review, if you like Diablo II. The wife is interested in it because of that. We might pick it up, but probably not until the price drops.

Well - it's moddable, though not on the same scale of NWN. There is no scripting language you can get at in TQ.

The nature of the editor is simpler than that - but still quite serviceable. If you are a NWN fan and are looking forward to NWN2 - the experience with TQ's map editor is probably what you will play with the most.

Gives you a new appreciation for osme of the difficulties you will encounter with NWN2. Texturing and blending textures properly ain't easy.

Sounds like you should clean out the registry and temp folders manually

How do i do that? I tryed to look for a folder with the TQ demo on it on my hard drive but I could not find one.

Try a program called Crap Cleaner (CCleaner). It clears out the temp folders on your computer (among other things) and you can also have it clean out old registry entries. It's pretty good, but be careful and make registry backups (it will prompt you). Also, make sure you tell it not to delete your cookies, if you care about that.

I found it pretty tedious, all things consider. Like Diablo II but with less variety. Some of the character options are neat, but I don't know if the game would hold most peoples' interest enough to play through enough times to take advantage of that.

I downloaded and ran Crap Cleaner and it did not fix the problem. How do I get into my temporay files and registry?
