That might well be more interesting than disciplines, so that I might want you far from blade magic. :)

So, can I see that (haven't found it, if it was posted at all; pardon me if that's meant for sale)?

It might be. Right now it's secret and under wraps, except for blatant self-promotion like this.

I know you've put this on hold, but I was looking at this and wondering why it was that the Martial Bard doesn't get the White Raven School as standard. I can see a lot more Bards acting like White Raven-users than Shadow Hand or Desert Wind specialists.

Three reasons:

1/ IMHO, Bards are more tricksters than leaders. They can do some leader-stuff (because they can do some of everything), but that's already represented by their songs. So they get songs + some other, non-leader stuff at 1st level.

2/ Don't want to step too heavily on the toes of the Crusader and Warblade, who are capable of being point men. The Bard should be a second-rank fighter.

3/ It would be too strong to allow access to Song of the White Raven at 1st level, IMHO. This way, the earliest a straight Martial Bard could get it would be 6th level, which is just fine.

Does that make sense? :)

Yeah, ever since the 4e announcement, it's felt rather irrelevant. Is there still any interest?
...just so you know, Nifft:

Yep, there's still interest! My players don't know it yet, but they'll hate you. :)

Guh! :uhoh:

I'm a bad rules parent. I can't promise to pay much attention to this soon, but I'll promise to feel bad about it until I do. :(

By the way, what happened to that child? Have I missed it or was it never posted?
Still in development. There's a lot of math since I want it both flexible and simple, with no more than triple the tactical complexity at 20th level over 1st level. :\
