No lies - no foursome. Three would be just fine. ;)

Now - my Smite, please....

I doubt Mystra nor the Red Knight would let you have another "partner"..... :p

And who said I actually HAD your Smite?

The lie was the "being normal" part. :D

What worries me is that, and this'll sound silly, but I planned to have a mental conversation with Trin, to discuss what it's like being a fantasy character and having a birthday. And she didn't show up to talk. As in, I can't seem to conjure her in my mind to speak to me.

Trust me, I won't get into why, but it doesn't sound silly to me at all.

Maybe you need to do something to relax? A nice long bath, or quiet meditation?

Good imaginary characters get like that, just like characters for writers. Sometimes they'll practically leap off the page and smack you, saying 'I would never do that! I would do this instead!'.

I've had a couple of characters that seem to "grow a life of their own"... so to speak. One who's name turned into the pirate name I use for our pirate group... it has that "pirate sound" to it. And the character herself could've easily been evil rather than good.

I'm not at all surprised by the comment that you have mental talks with your character, nor that you are frustrated cause she won't come. I understand that TOTALLY both with writing and with drawing I sometimes have the same problem and situations.
