Tome of Battle error I think

First Post
I was looking over the book last night, specifically the legacy weapons. Each weapopn has 3 rituals that you have to perform to unlock powers in the weapons. There are least, lesser, greater feats that you get for doing the rituals. It says that each ritual has a level requirement, however I do not see any. I also do not see anything really telling you which legacy ability is tied to least, lesser or greater feats to unlock it.

I know the first one is around 5th level (haven't read them all yet), due to the fact that the first ability is at 5th level. I think that the last one is at 20th level, due some of the weapons saying when you unlock the last one.

Can someone clarify this for me, I do not have the weapons of legacy book, and hate to buy it solely to get the info I need for these items.

Thanks

Fear not, you are neither alone nor mad! ;) The book echoes the same problem in the original Weapons of Legacy book in not making this point clear. I think the author suffered from the problem of already knowing the answer and this not being caught in editing. (Having put together a rulebook myself I know how easy this can be to do.)

The answer is, in any case: Least 5th level, Lesser 11th, Greater 17th.

This is why a blind playtest is so important - having someone who does not know the answer read the project can point out any number of mistakes. (Like the unexplained acronyms in the original D&D way back when... - if you know what an EHP is then you don't have to ask...)

I haven't seen Tome of Battle but I do own Weapons of Legacy. It is the most confusing D&D book I have seen, and I wasn't the only one confused by it. Surely after that, WotC would have learned their lesson and spelled out exactly how WoL worked when using WoL in future books.

Obviously not though.
