I agree 100%. Crawling boredom.

But it's what caused my gaming group to disentegrate a year ago. Two players couldn't stop thinking about it, talking about it, or playing it even on game nights.

I know what you mean, my DM is always incorporating stuff from the game into my our D&D game. I would rather post at these forums, than play DAOC.

In my experience the number one and two reasons are got a girlfriend and succumbed to and became embarrassed of society's image of the D&D player.
 

42) Your girlfriend convinced you to burn your books.


And characters.


And dice.


And modules.


And miniatures.


And die-pouch.


And pencils...

(Yes, I can count...I just like the number 42...)
