Torchwood: They Keep Killing Suzie

Anyone else think this was the best episode so far? Terribly, terribly dark, but really good. In many ways I found it darker than 'Countrycide'. I was totally engrossed in it, lost all track of time, and had to remind myself to breathe.

I had to watch an episode of QI afterward to decompress from the darkness.

It was a good ep indeed. Unfortunately it reminded me of how irritated I was when Indira Varna's character Suzie died in the first ep, as I'm a big fan of the actress. Glad we got to see a bit more of her, anyway.

After last week's fiasco, I very nearly dropped this show. I'm now very glad I didn't - this was the best episode so far.

Though 'risen mitten' is a terrible name for the device. 'Resurrection Gauntlet' was much better.

I liked this episode even though it had some plot holes in it and decided continuity issues from the rest of the series (Ianto and Jack's relationship for example). Did anyone else notice that the drug they give to people is nicknamed "retcon"?

Haven't seen any Torchwood episodes, still hoping they'll get picked up in my area sometime soon.

There was an old Avengers episode (7th season) titled "They Keep Killing Steed," where the enemy were altering their agents to look like Steed in order to sneak in and disrupt a peace conference. I wonder if the Torchwood episode title is a reference to the Avengers episode.

I didn't get it either. Watched it again on Wednesday, and the only thing I can assume is that Jack must've used some of that pheromone spray. He seems to be out to shag everyone on the team!!
