D&D 5E Totally bragging

the Jester

Legend
First off, I live in California (for context).

One of my old players, who now lives in New York City, just posted on my Facebook that he misses my DMing so much that he wants to fly me out to run a game for him.:lol:

Now THAT is one hell of an endorsement of my DMing skillz!!

one of my players was so happy with the game, they sent me 1000 gilded d20s arranged in a bouquet around a picture of my face.

I had a player once tell me that I ruined them for any other DM. Kind of an awful compliment, really, because they don't play anymore since they moved. :P

I once had a player fly back to the UK from India, interrupting their round-the-world holiday, so that they wouldn't miss an important session :)

Flying *you* to them, though... I salute you!

I just got a bottle of scotch (Laphproig Cask Strength, for those interested - smokey) from my players as a "thank you - happy holidays"...does that count as bragging rights?

My friends all play around a table, but because they miss me being around so much, they actually got Skype for their computers, and now I'm still around the table when they play. It's fun.
