D&D 5E Totally bragging

I have managed to make a couple of players to cry for the story i made for them. And the tears weren't because their character died.

I had a group at one point that paid me $4/hour to GM. (Minimum was $4/hour at the time.) They weren't worth GMing for, so it didn't last, but, yeah, I had a paying GM gig for a while.

Tell him it would be cheaper for him to buy you a copy of Fantasy Grounds Ultimate edition (or a monthly sub) and then you could run a long term campaign with him as a player.

*Edited: I forgot to put "Shameless plug" in the post.

I once, during a tournament, made a DM laugh so hard she was hospitalized. Unfortunately the head of the store had to take over our table and he'd never DMed, so the rest of the table hated me for it.

Moral: Get medical histories from DM's you've never played with before.

I use too many props with tactile elements- burnt maps that fall apart if handled carelessly and the like. He was one of my players for years before moving to NYC and apparently feels that the face-to-face is worth the price of the ticket. Also, he keeps trying to trick me into moving out there; I suspect that is a factor in his ploy, too. ;)
