The dragon barbarian gives up all the barbarian class features for the first five levels, except for Rage, and gains Blind Fight; a bonus to saves vs. sleep and paralysis; and the frightful presence ability.
The lion barbarian gives up the same things (but keeps trap sense) and gains Run, a bonus to Hide, and a damage bonus when he charges.
The totem bonuses are a little underwhelming. Bonus feats and skill bonuses aren't all that interesting. Great concept, not so sure about the execution.
If you are looking for better skills and so forth for a Totem Barbarian, look at the Animal Lord Prestige Class from Masters of the Wild. Not too difficult to upgrade to 3.5 since it's pretty straight forward.
