Touch attack vs. +X armor

SWAT

First Post
When determining your AC against touch attacks, I know you do not count your armor bonus, but do you count any enhancement bonuses on that armor?

So, for example, does a +2 chain shirt provide a +6 armor bonus to AC, or a +4 armor bonus to AC and a +2 enhancement bonus to AC?

The bonus from magic armor and shields is stated to be an armor enhancement bonus per the SRD.

IIRC, this is not one of the bonuses that figure into your touch AC, so no, sorry. The +2 chain shirt provides a +6 armor bonus, none of which is counted towards your touch AC.

I believe any special properties of the armor count, so if you had Ghost Touch Armor, or Fortification properties they still might come into play, depending on the attack and damage.

+6 Armor bonus. The +2 enhancement provides an enhancement to the armor bonus, raising it to +6.
