Touch of Idiocy question

It's also more entertaining at the table that way.

You roll a one, everyone groans.

You roll a six, everyone cheers. :)

Hey, I've had a cheer from multiple dice before.

6,6,6,6,6 on a 5d6 Lightning Bolt was a memorable one :D

Definately a roll for each stat. But then I know people that like rolling crit damage using only the base damage and multiplying by the oppropriate multiplier. I really don't like that, I'm all about the bell curve. :)

Yes, but the cheer is just not as frequent that way. And in a game, I prefer the fun of frequent when it comes to cheering. :)

I once had a player rolling best 3 out of 5D6 for stats and he couldn't get higher than 10. I told him he was rolling wrong, threw the dice up so that they almost hit the ceiling, and they then landed on the carpet all 6's. I told him he would never see that again in his life (considering that we rarely roll up characters and he left the state and hasn't played since, that was probably accurate).
