tournament lance

Hi,

I'm searching the stats for a tournament (jousting) lance (damage, hardness, hp...). I'm sure that they aren't in the PHB and DMG.
Any ideas where I can get them? House rules would be good, too.

I am not sure, but I thought the Heavy Lance is intented to be this lance - okay, it is the "combat" version, but I don`t think you will need much more...

The best idea I've got, off the top of my head, would be to use a heavy lance, and convert an amount of damage to subdual equal to twice the target's armour value.

This would go some way to simulate the fact that the weapon still has a lot of momentum and damage potential, but is designed not to penetrate plate armour.

Use the heavy lance that breaks when used and deals subdual damage. When you hit it forces an opposed strength check and you get a bonus equal to half the damage you do. If you exceed the other person's strength check by 10 or more he falls. The person who is hit can use the ride skill instead of a strength check if it is higher. You can not use spirited charge to get 3x damage.
