I saw the japanese trailer... and I was surprised at how closely this one resembled it...

Damn soundless computer......Anyway, this looks as though it may hold merrit. I'll probably go see it. At least it's not another Cruel Intentions type movie for SMG. :\

That is a pretty funny quote.
This should be pretty good. I own Ju-On: the curse. Which is the original tv movies that were remade as Ju-On: the grudge. They are some scary stuff.
Funny thing is I was in Japan last month and the host family that I stayed with had a house that resembled the house from Ju-On: the curse. Matter of fact their stairs resembled the stairs in the movie so much that when I first went in their house the hair on the back of my neck stood on end from remembering a scene in that movie.
If I ever see a little boy who makes a cat noise like that I am going to get out of there quick.

I see it's directed by the same fellow who did the original Japanese version. I wonder if this will simply be a shot for shot remake, ala Gus Van Sant's remake of Psycho.
