[Trailer] Tomb Raider: Cradle of Life

The first movie had some good parts in it, but I personally HATEHATEHATE movies that end with everything back to normal, as if nothing ever happened in the movie. For this reason, movies like Star Trek 5, Tomb Raider, and True Lies really do not live up to my expectations. After all, if a character goes through that much trauma, I expect SOME sort of life-change out of them.

But if nothing else, it looks to have some good action scenes in it.

I'm still fixed on Matrix Reloaded and X-Men 2.

Eh? Harry Tasker and his family would never be the same after the events in True Lies.

I don't think there is much that *could* save that movie...

I can't believe the first one even did well enough to merit a sequal, really...

It was a fad, Tomb Raider has a following (movie age males):). This one looks like it is going to be going the way of sex sells and showing off Joline's body (at least in the trailers).

Which is all that Joline really has to sell anyway, so it's not like this is a big deal.

I thought it looked great! For what it should be - pulpy, feng-shui style action with lots of exotic locations, goofy stunts and shooting - it will hopefully excel. I can only hope that there's a plot better than the first flick. If not, I'll have to switch off the "looking for logic holes" portion of my mind (like I did in XxX) in order to enjoy it.

Me, I liked the trailer. Unless it gets abyssmal reviews, I'll see it at a matinee and probably have fun in the process.
