I was thinking of buying this book but I want to know if it's worth the money first. If anyone who has it could post a quick review on it, it would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I do not have this one, but I have Traps & Treachery 2, and am very happy with it. I'm sure I'll never use all the traps, but some are just outstanding.

In a nutshell, this is a good book. The first chapter is crap, but the actual traps are marvelous and totally make up for the theif junk in the first half. T&T 2 is even better.

Not much of a review, but what can I say. I think the book is worth the money.

You need to get it. And it's sequel. The pictures ALONE are worth the cash money.

The traps are awesome because of their consistency to each other and the d20 System. They're displayed in a Monster Manual format with rules on making your own just like magic items!

Not to mention, it includes rules on making your own thieves' guild, a new NPC class (thug), magic items, prestige classes, and more.

Do it. GET IT!

I forgot about the 2nd book at the time I started this thread, but I will get it as well. The enemy shall ph33r my 1337 traps!

I used one of the traps from T&T2 in one of my Dire Kobold adventures, and I'm proud to say my very own girlfriend fell for the trap...muhahahahaha!

Here's why I think T&T is a fun book: it contains a trap called "Blood of the Wild" that simultaneously sprays the party with pigs' blood and releases starving wolves at the other end of a passageway.

Coolest trap ever, and there's even a picture.

Get them, they are the best trap books out there.

The beauty of it is that a lot of the traps recycle really well because they make good sense for a dungeon. It is one of the most used books in my collection.

Still, I am looking forward to "The Wurst of Grimtooths traps."

I agree though, both are really good. I'm also looking forward to the return of Grimtooth.....

I really liked the book myself. the Prclasses are more for an urban campaign but they would be very good for that purpose.
