OOC: Heh. Guardian will be striking again when it gets around to his turn, but I don't want to curse the tiny streak of luck I've got going with IC by rolling too far in advance.
OOC: I don't see limitations for action point useage specifically stated anywhere on page 45 of the Campaign Setting book. The 4th paragraps refers to using APs on multiple different actions, which is not the case here. The 5 paragraph is about high level characters rolling more than one die to take the best one rolled. We will need a judge to help us with this ruling I think...
ooc: You can only spend action points once per round and when modifying a roll you spend one action point to add +1d6 to the d20 roll. You cannot spend more than one point unless you are using the "Activate Class Feature" alternate use outlined on page 46. The paragraph regarding high level characters details what they can accomplish with that one action point.
