My question is simply: who is this for? I can't imagine too many Traveller fans want it in a completely different, class and level based system. And 5E already has a metric ton of sci-fi adaptations out there. Why does this exist?

A few bucks can be made. I dont think anyone expects it to be a hit.

This new version likely won't appeal to Traveller purists . . . so?

It will likely appeal to folks who are Traveller curious, and don't often play games that aren't 5E adjacent.

Not every game is for everyone.

Oh good lord. Who is this for?

Me. It's for me. And gamers like me.

I've been curious about Traveller for years, never played it. It's unlikely I could get my play group to give it a try.

But a 5E version? I don't have to invest a lot of time or brain power to learn the rules. My group just might go for it. Also, it might make for good inspiration for my own sci-fantasy hack that's been rolling around in my head.

Who is this for? The same audience all of the other 5E ports that came before were for. And the many, many 3E ports from the 2000's.

There was a "T20" in the 3.5/D20 era (in fact it's sitting on my shelf as we speak), so it only seems fair!
