I bet these sell great. It's kind of a wonder these haven't been a thing for decades now.

Probably because the game only uses standard 6-sided dice, which can be found anywhere, including scavenging the ones out of board games that are just sitting around. My friends and I did that in the early 80's when the 6-sided dice from our D&D dice were not enough. lol

Yeah, but you can get branded six-siders and regular sets of playing cards for all sorts of stuff. Getting ones with TAS insignia on them was likely pretty cheap and an easy way to make it a little more immersive.

And lord knows gamers are happy to lay out endless cash for new dice.

True, but I am not sure when it became a common thing to put specialty marks on dice in place of a number. I certainly don't remember seeing anyone do that in the 80's, maybe not the 90's either, though that was not something I generally was into or looked for either back then. I wonder if that kind of info is even documented anywhere on the web.
