On a related note... does anyone think 10 point buy would be too harsh to saddle players with?

Maybe I'm confused, but aren't normal average people built with 15 point buy? Or is this a Pathfinder thing and 10 point buy is equivalent to like 3e's 20 point buy?

With the PF Core Rules, as written, using Point Buy all attributes start at a 10. You can not buy below a 7 nor above an 18. With this, 10 points is considered Low Fantasy; 15 is Standard; 20 is High, and 25 is Epic Fantasy.

With that, it does mention that an NPC can be built with as little as 3 points.
