Tremorsense

I think LB is talking about tremorsense, not blindsight.

Right. I always played it like they knew what square you were in but not exactly where your head is or where your sword is swinging from.

But are you saying its equavalent to a 3rd level spell or what?

Well...yeah. It's not that powerful of an ability, and as Xarlen demonstrated, Blindsight (ability, not spell) is much more useful.

I would say it's about level with a 2nd, since Blindsight IS better (No comments :) ). But, still, that's POWERFUL for a 2nd level spell.

Take it from a DM who has a bat familiar in his game: Blindsight will mess with plans. Make it 3rd level, but give it a better duration then Blindsight, IF you are going to make it a spell. I see nothing wrong with enchanting a pair of boots with it, though.

Hmm... Does that mean a creature that has tremorsense but is otherwise blind can locate creatures but will be faced with a 50% miss chance against them?
