Trick or Treat?

So, for those of you who sit home and give out candy on Halloween night, do you get Trick or Treat'ers? If so when? As for me, the wife is sick tonight so we arent going out, and if past years are any indication the bowl of Snickers and Milky Ways will go uneaten by anyone but us and the gaming group.

This is our first Halloween in the new house so I've no idea when to expect them. I'm ready, though, with a bunch of toys from the Oriental Trading Company. Tops, puzzles, fake teeth . . .

Yeah, new house so we're not sure what to expect. We've had about 25 kids between 1730 and 1900 ... I'll have a couple of bags of candy to take in to the office tomorrow.

We have had about 11 kids in the hour I've been home. That is more than we have had in the past few years. I remember when we first moved in years ago we had 100 kids and went down year after year since.

IIn my communist town, they have trick-or-treating between 6 and 8 pm and it's not even always on Halloween. I remember in San Diego, we would go Trick or Treating till 11pm.

We had 5 kids tonight. Although, we live on a sidestreet that we are the only house on! Nice and private :)

We live on top of a dark hillside with no street or outdoor house lights. People are too scared that Bigfoot or something is going to gooble them up. When we do get people it is one of my kids best friends that ventured too far and/or a parent was con'd to visit us.

The porchlight is off and the results are in!

We had 55 trick-or-treaters.
My mother-in-law, who lives on the other side of town, had 97.

With all the lights off, no one came here. I think I'm in that age where I'm too old for trick or treating but too young to gain any pleasure from giving out candy to children.
