Trigger-Happy Thread-Forking

I've got the impression that it's a little easy to accidentally fork a thread. Maybe the Fork button should be placed further away from the Edit button? (Possibly its design should be changed to match those of the buttons) Or do people think that this problem will go away eventually, once everyone is accustomed to the new design & features?

(I don't think that's a bug, therefore I didn't post it in the "Bug"-thread... Mods may feel free to move it there...)

That's nothing. I've lost count of the number of times I've edited when I wanted to quote. And didn't notice until a day later...

This always _nearly_ happens when I want to answer a comment in my blog. Just when I see "Hmm, what's with all the text without the quote tags?" that I avoid doing it.
Reminds me of my game groups forum - I am also a Moderator there (in fact, every member of our group is - outside members did never become regular posters as we had maybe expected once), and sometimes I want to quote and edit a post instead...

I remember seeing Mike saying that he wanted to bring the other buttons into line with the 'fork' button, so that should change in the future.
