Trouble with personalizer?

I was wondering if anyone else has had difficulty downloading from Paizo. I bought the RPG Thursday and still can't download it...Their customer service responded citing the heavy traffic. Is anyone else in the same barrel?

Yep. It took a while to get it last night. I tried after work (6pm CDT) and couldn't. So I tried it later around 11:30pm and got it. Took a few tries then too.

Keep clicking on that "check back in a minute" button every, well, minute. It took me three tries doing that until it finally said ready to download, and I'm downloading the split chapter file (133 MB) right now as I type this. About 1 minute downloading and I'm at about 15% on broadband.

I'm so excited - I feel like a kid on Christmas morning again waiting at the top of the stairs to go down to see what's under the tree!

I only just managed to get it today - they changed the personalizer in some way they said, probably to make sure only a limited number could download at a time.

Even after I got the personalizer available it took me four or five times for it to work as it kept kicking out on me. Things will slow down in a day or two more I think.

Thanks for the info - If that's the case, I think I'll wait a couple of days before I download the "all in one" to let somebody else get a chance to get their copy downloaded.

I ended up with very good luck last night at about 8pm Eastern. My trick: don't wait.

Click to personalize. It redraws the screen and either says something like "working... click back in a minute" or it only says "click back in a minute". If it doesn't say working, it's not going to personalize, so you might as well click immediately to get back to the screen where you can click personalize again. If it does say working, you can let it sit a bit to let it work.

Point is that if it doesn't say the word "working", you're wasting your time waiting; the Paizo site is not doing anything at all for you at that time.

I downloaded some things last night and the wait was much better, just a couple of refreshes necessary and I downloaded everything I needed. Anyone waiting can probably get what they desire now without too much hassle.
