Oct. 30th? Shesh. I hate fox and their late season starts. I know it's due to the World Series and such, but it annoys me to no end. Just needed to rant. I feel better now. Really. I do. :)

so youd rather they start the season on time? show an episode or three and then stop for a weeks while the world series is on?

dont even bother getting attached to this show
1> its on thursdays against survivor and friends (and even wrestling, which will prevent any young guys from checking it out just cuz shes hot)

2> its on fox. these geniuses have cancelled family guy and fiirely in the last two seasons. two of the bext tv shows ever. both of which are so good, they actually have a decent chance of continuing to live on. after being cancelled. by fox. someone needs to lose his job and SOON.

hey joss, its ok for you to start writing those faith:the vampire slayer scripts now. (although id really rather see a movie, can smg hurry up and bomb some movies)

Who's to say he's not already on her "call returns" list? :D

I hope it does well, but the problem is that the premise does not sound catchy enough, nor enough publicity has been present, to get interest going in this show. Unless a trend-setter from Variety raves about this show, or the Nielsens do uncharacteristically well in November, the future will likely be depressing.

It's up against Friends and Suvivor; so we'll have to wait and see how it does.
Mmm... Two shows I loathe ("Why, yes, I am a nerd."). Well, I'll check it out. It's not like anything else that night is worth watching.

Of course, Crothian, you're absolutely correct that that spot is a killer. Pretty much 0% chance of catching anyone in the "mainstream".

I thought firefly was garbage.. one of the worst shows I had ever seen. But I digress.. I was dissapointed with the cancelling of futurama, and while i never watched family guy, i have a lot of friends who loved it. Fox is fickle indeed...

I watched the first one (Firefly) and thought it sucked, too. But I stuck with it, and by the third one, I was hooked. By the time it was cancelled, it was one of my favorite shows. I'm thankful to Space up here in Canuckleland for airing all 12 eps this season...

I watched three episodes and liked it less and less with each one. I think the episode where they were squaredancing on some alien planet was the clincher for me. There are enough rednecks up here (Calgary, just a chuckwagon ride distance from you in MH) that I don't want to see them on my sci-fi shows. It wasn't so much any particular fault of the show, but the fundamental concept of a space western. Ugh...

Actually, I like the space western concept. If it was about space surfing or space tropical, then perhaps that would turn me off. :p

Aloha!
