True Spontaneous Spellcaster

Is there a divine or arcane (besides the warmarge) spellcaster that doesn't need a spellbook, but neither does he choose a personal repertoire of spells -- he knows every spell on a spell list? Of course he does have a daily limit on the number of spells of each level he can cast, but he can freely cast any spell on the said class spell list until he reaches that limit.

I am looking for a divine or nature based spontaneous spellcaster that can freely reely cast any spell on the said class spell list without choosing a personal repertoire or preparing his spells.

Maybe the Spirit Shaman is what you're searching for.

Dread necromancer, in Heroes of Horror.

Nothing I know of gives access to all magic right away. Even Elements of Magic, while it does allow you to make magic up on the fly, limits what types of magic you know.

The closest I can think of is the Sorcery super power in Mutants & Masterminds, which basically is "Do whatever you want." You spend an action to cast a spell, and the spell can emulate any other super-power. Compared to other superpowers you have the drawback that you have to spend time casting and concentrating, but you have access to anything you can think of.

Actually, at least in 1st Ed. M&M (the one I've played), Sorcery required you to pick a specific number of powers you could emulate -- like 6 (one from each category).

Now, in the old Marvel Super Heroes game (Basic Set), Sorcery worked exactly like you describe here.

For D&D, Spirit Shaman does what you are looking for.

Other than that, I beleive there are several classes from Arcana Unearthed/Evolved (Monte Cook's alternate PHB) that do exactly that. The Magister for example can ready x amount of simple or complex spells each, then cast them in any combination (like a sorcerer) until they run out of spell slots. They have the entire spell list open to them (except for Complex spells). The other spellcasting classes in that book are also similiar.
