D&D 5E True20 Classes for 5e

In the similar class system I'm working on, I gave the Expert a modified version of Sneak Attack.

I renamed it Subtle Strike and in addition to dealing +xd6, the Expert can choose to forego the damage and instead "create an opening/expose a weak point" with their attack that grants the bonus damage to an ally's next melee damage roll.

It allows those who dont want to do the backstabbing assassin thing an option to contribute. I also replaced the hide option in Cunning Action with use an object. Now the expert can be the one giving potions, activating traps, using tools, or doing creative environmental interaction stuff every turn as opposed to trying to skulking around.

I have a suggestion for the Adept. Make the spellbook an optional add-on. There is nothing generic about relying on a book for spellcasting, and having it makes all spellcasters defacto wizards. Maybe make it a choice point inside the class or a feat?

Good point. I have a plan to update both the adept and the expert. Working on archetypes right now.

A lot of stuff popped up in my life. Which delayed me finishing this thread. Anyways....

Its done.

I have changed to Adept based upon the comments people posted. And have come to a point in which I am happy with the archetypes.

Still looking for feed back, especially on the archetypes.
