When reading about the Truenamer on various forums (I don't actually own the book), the flavor seemed to contradict what I always thought of as someone able to wield the truespeech that describes creation. My original idea was to create a caster with some small combat powers with a very powerful, unfailing truespeech ability once per day, centered around a particular truespeech word that the character knows (potential words, similar to the concept of spell schools, would be Destroy, Create, and Change) The character only gets to choose one of these words and uses the power a very, very few number of times per day, but that effect, always allows no save and is particularly potent. My attempts to produce an effective class like this have so far proved wildly unbalanced (I'm pretty new, so maybe that’s the problem). Anyone have any ideas for a one power per day class that is neither over nor underpowered?
