Map Details:
  • Grid Size: 48x56 10' Squares (72 dpi); VTT Size: 1700x2025
  • Areas 1, 7, and 15 have pillars.
  • Areas 7, 12, 19, 21 a), 27 b), and 31 have statues.
  • Area 10 has a trap door in the floor (see area 18).
  • Area 11 has a pool/fountain.
  • Areas 15, 31 a), and 37 have tapestries.
  • Area 17 is what I called, 'the Crooked Room.'
  • Areas 17 and 28 have hidden pits.
  • Area 18 has a trap door in the ceiling (see area 10).
  • Areas 20 c, 20 d), and 20 e) have stone coffers/caskets/sarcophagi.
  • Areas 27 a) and 31 have braziers.
  • Areas 27 b) and 31 b) have daises/raised platforms.
  • Area 29 b) and 51 are connected via a teleport (a column of mists/shining lights/darkness/what-have-you).
  • Area 31 b) has an altar.
  • Area 32 a) has steps that lead up into area 32 b).
  • Areas 35 and 42 are open pits. The pit in area 35 gives access to area 44.
  • Area 44 is on a natural stone plateau. I would make it at least 10 ft. high above the surrounding cave floor.
  • The tunnels at areas 46 and 52 have collapsed (but have the potential to expand beyond this map).
  • Area 47 is a natural spring pool.

  • Area 5 b) has a throne/large chair on a dais.
  • Area 20 is a balcony. Area 40 is the rooftop. Both have parapets along their outer edges.
  • Area 24 a) and 31 a) have tapestries.
  • The corridor between areas 34 and 35 have a concealed trap door in the ceiling (that leads to the level 6/Rooftop).
  • Outside of area 38 is a ladder that leads to the flat rooftop (not shown on map).
  • Area 40 has a trap door in the floor (that leads to the concealed trap door on level 5).

Depending on how I would run this, I'd probably add some sort of window or arrow slits between 9 and/or 23 and 2b. And a doorbell of course at 2a 🙃

I immediately thought - Room 2 has a huge 20' diameter lead ball rolling around it at 80mph. Within the rest of the dungeon are 8 switches. Each switch turned off reduces the speed of the ball by 10mph. Finally room 3 behind the secret door - which only opens once all 8 switches are off - is the teleportation device/mcguffin...

This one looks like it could be a fun puzzle dungeon - I'd make it for 5th-6th level characters I think...
