Map Details:
  • Grid Size: 36x46 10' Squares (72 dpi); VTT Size: 1229x1578
  • This is the main rooftop level with corner towers.
  • The grey sections along the outside wall are the open balconies from Building Level 2 (see the June 25th 2021 Friday Freebie/Enhanced map; Areas 5, 19, 39, and 44). The grey section in the inner courtyard is the open balcony of Building Level 3 (see the July 2nd 2021 Friday Freebie/Enhanced map; Area 1 b).
  • The white squares on the walls are windows.
  • The grey squares on the outer walls represent parapets (actually the spaces between the parapets).
  • Area 6 has statues.
  • Areas 6 and 15 have pillars.
  • Area 14 is the building's rooftop and has multiple ballistae.
  • Areas 16, 17, 18, and 19 have circular stairs leading counter-clockwise down to Building Level 3 (see the July 2nd 2021 Friday Freebie/Enhanced map).
  • Areas 16, 17, 18, and 19 have ladders leading up to the tower rooftops.
  • Areas 20, 21, 22, and 23 are the tower rooftops. Each tower rooftop has a trapdoor in the floor (allowing access to the ladder below).

  • Areas 3, 11, and 18 have covered pit traps.
  • Area 5 a) has a hole in the wall (that leads to area 27) with rubble strewn about.
  • Areas 5 b) and 15 b) have square pillars.
  • Areas 6, 11, 19 have false doors.
  • Areas 12 and 21 have round pillars. Two pillars in area 21 a) have crumbled into rubble.
  • Area 12 has steps leading up to the southern double door.
  • Area 14 has a pool/fountain.
  • Area 23 has an open pit/well.

  • Area 25 (listed twice) is one large upside down L-shaped chamber that runs underneath the corridor of area 21. The dash lines show the lower level in relation to the upper level.

  • Areas 7, 15, 27 a), 30, 31, and 32 have covered pit traps.
  • Area 11 b) is at a lower elevation than area 11 a). Areas 11 b) and 40 have open pits/wells (perhaps they serve as access to a lower level).
  • Areas 20 a) and 22 have tapestries.
  • Areas 21, 22, 24 a), 24 c), and 35 have false doors.
  • Area 24 a) is at a higher elevation than area 24 b). There is a ladder allowing access between the two levels.
  • Area 27 b) has a sarcophagus.
  • Area 29 has a pool/fountain.
  • Areas 34 a), b), and c) plus the corridor have collapsed and are strewn with rubble.
  • Area 36 has a dais/raised platform.

  • The shaded section of Area 3 b) is part of the walkway that will crumble to the ground below when enough weight is placed upon it.
  • Area 3 c) and d) represent the lower elevation.
  • Areas 3 c), 5, 13 a), 14, and 30 have pillars. Areas 14 and 19 have large pillars.
  • Area 4 has a throne on a dais/raised platform.
  • Areas 4, 5 b), 16 b), and 31 have statues.

Is 3(d) a feature? Or just noting the lower elevation of room 3? Also, not clear exactly what the dashed lines are on the walkway of 3a. Is that just to indicate the the entirety of 3a/b walkway is higher than the lower 3c/d?

I really like this split level dungeon. And that it is foreshadowed pretty much in the first room the party would find. But they have to go through most of the dungeon to find ways down, unless they discover secret doors...
