Turning Feat question

Hawkeye

First Post
Ihave checked through all of my resources (the Core books, FRCs, MOF, Net book of Feats), does anyone know of a feat that a Cleric could take that would give you +2 on your Turning checks, effectively making you 2 levels higher when you turn Undead? I have not seen one. Thank you in advance.

I don't own that many books, but the only feat I know that deals with Turning is Extra Turning. It doesn't grant a +2 to Turning checks, so that can't be what your looking for.

Sorry. Anyone else ?

IIRC, FRCS and MaoF don't have any feats related to turning.

the closest i could find is from DotF

Heighten Turning

Prereq: Cha 13+, Extra Turning

you may choose to a number no higher than your cleric level to add your turning check, while subtracting that number from your damage roll

It's called Improved Turning. It gives +2 to turning checks and turning damage. (Prerequisite: Extra turning, CHA 13+). But it does NOT make your effective caster level 2 levels higher--there's a difference.

There's another one called Empower Turning, which is sorta the counterpart of Highten Turning. It gives you -2 to turning checks, and +2d6 turning damage. Prerequisite: Extra turning.

Both of these can be found in "Gryphon's Book of 3rd Edition Feats." You'll have to do a web search for it though, because I don't have the link. I don't really know whether either of these has been published in print form.

Improved Turning I don't know about, but Heighten Turning and Empower Turning are both from Defenders of the Faith.
