[sblock=Stunt]What would I need to do to make a spinning whirlwind attack of doom against these skeletons? Basically, since I know I'm not really going for a lot of damage here, I was thinking just switching to the flat of my axe blade, holding it out, and attempting to spin and scatter their bones.

Is that what you mean by stunts?[/sblock]

//Yeah. That's what I mean by stunts. It's freeform. You tell me what actions, skills, powers, etc. you want to 'bid' on the stunt and your intended effect. (You can even bid healing surges to represent extreme effort.) Then, you make the rolls. (And an attack roll for each target.) Based on the results, we apply the effects.

For instance, in the whirlwind of doom, you could say that you're going to put an attack and move action into it. The skill you're going to associate with it is athletics, and you're willing to 'pay' a 'stunt tax' of -4 on all your attack rolls with -4 damage. You'd make the athletics check and attack rolls for each skeleton.//

As the last few skeletons fly at Vaunea and then surround her, her eyes turn a deep shade of red as a roar comes out of her, darker than any the people in the dome had heard before. Vaunea seems to go into a rage as she holds out her axe and as blood drips from her hands, she flies into a tornado of chaos, striking at all in her path.

[sblock=Actions]Minor Action: Activate Battlecrazed Large Battleaxe (gain Regen 6) -- Do I get those points now for this round?
Standard and Move Action -> Burn Goring Charge and 2 healing surges for the whirlwind attack of doom, using Athletics, attempting to whirl and move at the same time to hit as many skeletons as possible (-2 to the attacks because Vaunea only cares about hitting the minions and is using a healing surge. Damage is inconsequential, since all hits cause at least 1 point of damage). I am hoping that the second healing surge might allow me to be like a top and spin around towards square P7 or so...if more attacks are needed, go ahead and roll them with the 1d20+7.

Athletics=1d20+8
To Hit=1d20+7 (x8)

Let me know exactly what that does... :erm:

//Sorry, regeneration provides you with points at the start of your turn. Since Vaunea wasn't bloodied until she activated the axe (i.e. after the start), she has to wait until her next turn for the 6 HP.

Sorry it took so long to post. Wanted to think about it a bit.//

The crowd screams in horror, then in pleasure as Vaunea cuts loose.

The Approvalometer (tm) pulses with their combined psychic energy and shoots a bolt of energy into the minotaur. As she glows with green radiance, blood flows from her nostrils, eyes, and ears, pouring upwards into a small stormcloud of blood vapor. Little red lightnings dance in it. Vaunea launches into a frenzy, striking out at the skeletons around her, while the audience rhythmically screams her name. With each blow, a bolt of blood-lightning strikes a Legionairre.

Four Legionairres fall, never to rise or replicate.

Vaunea, dizzied, finds herself in a new position. The blood-storm disperses, scattering a fine mist of life fluid on the field. Every bone and muscle in Vaunea's body aches. (-1 on all rolls until EONT.)

But the audience LOVES it.

ROUND 3
Mr. Pinch's voice cries out:
BONESWARM!

One of the broiling mass of bones conglomerates into a flying, heaping blob of bone fragments. All the skulls within it scream in pain. The nearby skeletons edge away from it.

One again, Pinch entones:
BONESWARM!

The other pile of bones surges upwards into a buzzing, killing collective!

With a loud pop, a green disk appears on the ground, in the southeast corner of the arena.

[sblock=Uncle Mikey's Special Potions]UNCLE MIKEY’S SUPER HEALING POTION
Base Item: Potion
Power (Consumable): Minor Action. Drink this potion and spend a healing surge. You regain all lost Hit Points. However, because Uncle Mikey made this potion with super-hot peppers, you experience unbelievable searing pain in your mouth and bowels. Your tongue swells, and you cannot speak (or consume any other potions). Your nose runs, your eyes tear, and you become dizzy from the pain: -2 to all attack rolls and defenses. A successful save ends the harmful side effects.
Level: n/a
Value: n/a

UNCLE MIKEY’S GO JUICE
Base Item: Potion
Power (Consumable): Minor Action. When you drink Uncle Mikey’s Go Juice, you gain a +1 bonus to Speed, Armor Class, and Reflexes, as well as the ability to perform an extra basic attack once per round, as a free action, on your turn. This Go Juice effect lasts until the end of your next turn.

Once the first effect of the Go Juice wears off, you begin to get the jitters. When you post, you cannot place spaces, capitalization, or punctuation in your character’s speech. You still gain a +1 bonus to Speed and may perform an extra basic attack, once per round, as a free action, on your turn. However, you suffer a -1 penalty to all attack rolls and defenses. A successful save ends this effect.

After the second effect of the Go Juice wears off, you become blind until the end of your next turn.
Level: n/a
Value: n/a[/sblock]

[sblock=Approvalometer Tokens][sblock=Generic Tokens x3]A party member can spend a generic token to do one of the following...
  • Get Up! -- spend a Healing Surge as a free action (even if unconscious).
  • Get Going! -- gain an extra action, as if having spent an action point.
  • Do It Again! -- regain the use of an encounter or daily power that you have already expended.
  • Try Harder! -- re-roll a failed attack roll with a +1 bonus.
Spending a Token of Favor is a free action. It can only be done on your turn. Once used, tokens are gone forever. They will not be restored each 'round' of the battle.[/sblock]
[sblock=Special Psychic Tokens]Because of the party's interaction with the general public, you have caused the approvalometer to generate several special tokens. These tokens are as follows...

DUUUUUUUUUDE!
Uncle Mikey loves the party!
Available to: Any one party member.
Effect: You may activate this token as a free action when you imbibe a potion. You do not have to spend a healing surge to gain the potion’s effects.

EVERYBODY LOVES VAUNEA
Nothing protects a warrior like the pure-hearted love of children.
Available to: Vaunea.
Effect: You may activate this token as an immediate interrupt when you are supposed to suffer damage from an attack. The token negates all effects of the attack.

GOOD RIDDANCE!
Your fans feel nothing but relief that Hadarai has left the party—and that provides you with relief as well.
Available: Entire party.
Effect: A party member may activate this token as a free action on his or her turn. All members of the party immediately recover 4 HP and may perform a save against one effect.

GIVE HIM A FOOT IN THE MOUTH AND HE’LL TAKE A MILE
Finnian’s gaffes have moved the public, so now they want to move him.
Available: Finnian.
Effect: As a free action, you may shift 6 squares.

MARCO’S HOPES AND DREAMS
Marco’s desire for the party’s victory grants new life to the fallen.
Available: Any one party member.
Effect: As a free action, when a party member becomes unconscious or dies, you may activate this token. The fallen party member immediately recovers, gaining full hit points.

ONE-ARMED HALFLING SUPER-FU
Cousin Eustace’s hard-bitten, dirty-fightin’ warrior spirit inspires you.
Available: Any one party member.
Effect: You may use this token as a free action when one of your attacks hits an opponent. That opponent is stunned until the end of its next turn.

ONE HOT HUNK OF MANHOOD
The red-hot lust of women everywhere fuels Drivan’s flames.
Available to: Drivan.
Effect: When you cast Scorching Burst, you may activate this token. The area of spell becomes burst 5, and it inflicts 2d6, rather than 1d6 damage. You gain a +2 bonus on attack rolls with the burst.

RATS!
Swillwort’s gratitude over his release from his horrible state sets the party free from their afflictions.
Available to: Entire party.
Effect: All party members automatically succeed in saves against any current, ongoing effects.

Once you expend a psychic token, it is gone forever. Only the person to whom the token is available may activate it.[/sblock][/sblock]

[sblock=Dave, Spirit of War]Once per round, a party member may spend a Dave Token. A Dave Token has one of the following effects, chosen when it is used:
  • A party member may shift one space.
  • A party member may regain 1d6 HP without spending a healing surge.
  • A party member may perform a basic melee attack as a free action.
  • Designate an enemy as a target. All party members gain a +1 bonus to attack rolls against that target until the start of activator's next turn.
Using a Dave Token is a free action that a party member may perform on his or her turn. The party may only use one Dave Token per round.[/sblock]

[sblock=Drivan's stunt]Want to use the One Hot Hunk of Magehood psychic token and spend a healing surge and make an Arcana roll to cast flaming burst in a burst 7 at 1d8+int damage.

Will take a -5 to the attack and a -5 to damage. Does that work?[/sblock]

//Arcana roll and attacks..//

[sblock=Rolls]
Arcana Roll - [5,13] = (18) (sonuva..)
Attack Rolls...
1d20+2=17, 1d20+2=20, 1d20+2=10, 1d20+2=10, 1d20+2=14, 1d20+2=22, 1d20+2=20, 1d20+2=22, 1d20+2=11, 1d20+2=6, 1d20+2=3, 1d20+2=20, 1d20+2=20, 1d20+2=7, 1d20+2=4, 1d20+2=8, 1d20+2=8, 1d20+2=10, 1d20+2=4, 1d20+2=13, 1d20+2=4, 1d20+2=14, 1d20+2=9, 1d20+2=11, 1d20+2=10, 1d20+2=5, 1d20+2=4, 1d20+2=11, 1d20+2=4, 1d20+2=17, 1d20+2=13, 1d20+2=12, 1d20+2=15, 1d20+2=11, 1d20+2=11, 1d20+2=9, 1d20+2=4, 1d20+2=18, 1d20+2=14, 1d20+2=8, 1d20+2=7, 1d20+2=11, 1d20+2=4, 1d20+2=4, 1d20+2=13, 1d20+2=9, 1d20+2=22, 1d20+2=7, 1d20+2=8

The attack is from left to right, beginning with the skeleton at U17 and ending at K7, the two masses I went with as a single roll, first K16 and then K7, ending with J13. I rolled 49 attacks which I think covers everyone?

Damage Roll
[2,1] = (3)

Forgot about the plus from the Arena for the attacks but added it for the damage roll.
[/sblock]

Drivan raises his arms high, his staff held up in suplication to the will of the audience and to any arcane entities whom might be watching...

Vulnerable and well aware of it he utters the magic word.

"!!TSOUB RCIS G'CHORG!!"

Flames erupt from the very surface of the arena, indiscrimanate of friend and foe they engulf the entire legion of bone, enveloping the party as well.

Screams emerge from the fire storm, some sound human while others are impossible to decipher. The heat-induced shattering of bone can be heard even through the roar of the flames and screams. The audience waits in hushed anticipation for the outcome, as if Drivan had just taken his final putt at the Masters...

//Crossed Fingers...//

//Would like to have used a move to shift once to the South but thought with a stunt like that I'd be pushing my luck. That way I avoid complete slaughter by OA and bring up the chance of living through this round.//
