[sblock=Next Steps]It feels like we are stuck, with some saying "whatever is fine with me." I'm fine with a consensus decision too and will happily do whatever the group agrees to. In the interest of moving ahead, here's my concrete suggestions...

2x Augmenting whetstones for Finnian - 150gp
1x Tempest whetstone for Vaunea - 200gp
bet the rest on the party

If anyone has other suggestions, let's get them out so we can vote and move on.[/sblock]

I also like betting as much as everyone is comfortable with on our coming out of this all on top. I have a wicked-cool COAT! and a stupidly awesome party, so I have no worries (note how I'm roleplaying here; no logistics!).
If anyone minds, then we'll go half or 3/4; otherwise, I'm all in. If we die, we lose it all anyway! [/sblock]

While enjoying the all-you-can-eat buffet and day spa, the party summons a goblin runner and gives him 350 gp, along with a list for whetstones. The runner departs, returning later with the desired items.

• 2x Augmenting whetstones for Finnian - 150gp
• 1x Tempest whetstone for Vaunea - 200gp

The party places the remainder of their collective funds (315 gp) on a wager for their success in the Battle Bone.
