D&D 5E Tweaking Font of Magic into Spell Point variant system

In other news, the spell point system makes the Warlock horribly under-powered. The spell point system allows 9 5th level spell slots a day, where as even with more short rests than normal, a Warlock's going to have at most 8 5th level spells at the same level. It levels off a bit at ninth level, and is almost completely gone at 17th. Nonetheless I recommend moving the increase in number of spell slots for the Warlock to ninth level.

By tweaking Font of Magic slightly, a version of the Dungeon Master's Guide Spell Point variant can be achieved that slides comfortably in place along side spell slot casting systems.

Converting a Spell Slot to Sorcery Points. As a bonus action on your turn, you can expend one spell slot and gain a number of sorcery points equal to the slot's sorcery point cost.
