Two new spells

Two spells I created for a Peace domain for a goddess in my campaign... constructive criticism welcomed :)

Pacifism
Evocation
Level: Peace 5
Components: V, S, M, DF
Casting Time: One day
Range: Touch
Area: 10ft./level radius
Duration: Instantaneous
ST: None
SR: See Text

With this spell, a cleric can infuse a site, building, or other similar structure with the power of Alysis, making the area dedicated to peace. This spell is similar to Hallow and Unhollow, though the effects differ:

1) Guards the site with a Magic Circle vs. Evil

2) All damage done to living creatures in the area of Pacifism is converted to subdual damage. This includes damage from spells, spell-like abilities, extrodinary and supernatural powers, and weapons. Damage done from outside the area of effect inward is still converted. Damage done from inside the area of effect outward is also converted. Damage from a continuous source which started outside the area of effect is not converted - this includes secondary poison effects, diseases, continuing acid damage, etc. This does not stabilize people who are dying. Undead and Constructs are not living, and therefore take normal damage.

3) As Hallow/Unhallow, the cleric may choose to tie a single spell to the site from the following list: Aid, Bless, Calm Emotions, Daylight, Detect Evil, Detect Magic, Dispel Magic, Discern Lies, Emotion (Friendship), Invisibility Purge, Protection from Arrows, Remove Fear, Tongues, Zone of Truth

Material components are the same as for Hallow and Unhallow.

As Pacifism, but the radius is centered on the caster.

[EDIT] - Added provision for undead and constructs...

That would be a killer spell is used with undead or constructs, as they would then be immune to all damage.

Maybe add a restriction that it doesn't prevent damage to undead, constructs, and objects.

Also, don't make it instantaneous. A 'One year' duration like Hallow would be fine.

True, it would be killer with those creatures... good call.

Did I miss some errata on Hallow and Unhallow? The duration being Instantaneous threw me for a loop too.

As for the Peace domain, right now the spells are Calm Emotions, Enthrall, Emotion (Friendship), Tongues, Pacifism, Mass Suggestion, Symbol (Harmony), Alysis' Aura... there's no ninth level spell right now.

Symbol (Harmony) is similar to Symbol (Discord), except that everyone in the radius becomes amiable and peaceful. 50% chance to make a lasting friendship if of similar alignment.

What I have in mind for the ninth level spell is a touch spell which acts as a Geas/Quest (against taking offensive actions), converts the target to good alignment, and makes the target worship Alysis. There's a ST (Will Partial) - making the saving throw prevents the conversion, but not the Geas/Quest.

Reading the first posts, I had the same idea for a 9th level spell :), though I don`t think it should convert the target to a certain diety.

(It would make the spell domain too specific, and why shouldn`t every cleric of that god try to cast the spell on every other person - everybody would worship the same good, and everybody would be peaceful! That`s great! But not for the storyline :( )

Did you think about a special power of this domain?
Perhaps something like "peace touch": Once per day, the cleric may touch a creature. Roll (cleric level)d6. If the total equals or exceeds the creauters current hit points, it immediately becomes calm and unhostile. Its attitude becomes friendly towards the cleric. For 24 hours, it will not attack anyone unless provoked, and even when, it will avoid killing and try to only use defensive tactics or inflicts minor wounds (subdual damage, as an example).
(Hmm, perhaps the power should be called "sign of peace" :) )
