The +2 to the DC of spells cast might have some balance problems if there are also other ways to highten the DC of spells in your world.
It happens frequently that someone in the boards has problems with players that maxed their character, expecially in FR, in order to have spells that have impossible saves, and that ruin the game
(for example a nice fight aganst the super-villain that ends on the first round with a disintegrate DC 40)

If you don't allow prestige classes and/or other feats that will produce this effect, or if you think that your players won't abuse it, then go on freely. Otherwise maybe reduce it to a simple +1.

Some of the Cascene tribal-based bonuses seem quite powerful. +2 spell DC is very powerful, I'd say the Bharanda and Gharukka should both be ECL +1.

I have to say I prefer the dragontouched that someone put up on here a few weeks back to yours; not that yours is bad, but I guess it's just that yours seems not so much dragontouched in the same way as you get planetouched, but rather are just slightly less powerful half-dragons.

The Cascene seem to be working well im of corse playing the one with the wizard as there faverd race and his save DC is only two higher then the other wizard in the grope so they dont seen to need an ecl. At least these arnt like gamecats sword mage they whipet my previsu charters in one hit no that was four but in one round. The cascene are not as power full as the plaintouched in any shap or form most plain touched will kick the krap out the the cascene from there very nacher. Like they care if your spells are that much stronger not realy.

First off, learn how to spell and to use paragraphs. Please.

Then, the Cascene apparently get +2 Str, +2 Int, AND +2 Wis, for the low price of a penalty to Cha? In addition, they receive either a bonus to several skills, or an iniative bonus and natural armor, or +2 Save DC verses all spells (far superior to Spell Focus). And the fact that you can pick your subrace, allowing one to tailor it specifically to their character.

Quite frankly, when compared to ordinary humans, dwarves, elves, etc., they gain substantial bonuses to both ability scores and useful applicable skills, at virtually no penalty, they are extremely overpowered.

Even as an ECL +1 race, they could be very well overpowered. Assmar, for example, gain bonuses to Spot and Listen, bonuses to Wisdom and Charisma, and the ability to cast Light.

Its a -2 strength not a +2 strength and becuse of that my charscters stength is 11. I had to take a feat too counter that.

By the way think of it this way you cant spell eather your having as many problems as im having. Hammerhead you need a hammer to your head.

Hi,
Here is my personal representation of the 'dragontouched' whcih I posted up on the boards a while ago.

"Wyrmtouched"

"Wyrmtouched" is a general word to describe those who can trace their bloodline back to a dragon.
The effects of the draconic heritage last many generations. Although not as dramatically altered as a half-dragon the wyrmtouched still retain some special qualities. Usually they are alignment of the type of dragon they are descended from. The wyrmtouched have several distinguishing features such as reptilian eyes or elongated fingernails and teeth. Often wyrmtouched are born with abilities closer to the powers of the dragons.
Wyrmtouched have the following traits:
+2 Strength +2 Charisma: Like their ancestor’s wyrmtouched possess great strength, a powerful force of personality and an innate talent for sorcery.
Base speed: 30 ft
Energy resistance 10 (This depends on the type of dragon the wyrmtouched is descended from, see table below)
Dark vision up to 60 feet
Natural Armour +1: Wyrmtouched have tough skin with patches of scales the same colour as the type of dragon they are descended from.
Wyrmtouched also get one choice from the list below:
1) Breath Weapon (usable once per day based on the dragon variety)
2) Energy Resistance 10 and Claw and Bite attacks (Bite Damage: 1d4, Claw Damage: 1d3)
3) Wings (can fly at half their normal speed with poor maneuverability)
If the player chooses Wings then they have to pay twice as much for armour as it have to be custom fitted for their bodies.

Level Adjustment +1. Wyrmtouched are slightly more powerful and gain levels more slowly than most of the common races.
Favoured Class: Sorcerer

Dragon Variety Breath Weapon Damage (DC) Resistance
Black Line of Acid 2d4 (13) Acid
Blue Line of Lightning 2d8 (14) Electricity
Green Cone of Gas 2d6 (13) Acid
Red Cone of Fire 2d10 (15) Fire
White Cone of Cold 1d6 (12) Cold
Brass Line of Fire 1d6 (13) Fire
Bronze Line of Lightning 2d6 (14) Electricity
Copper Line of Acid 2d4 (13) Acid
Gold Cone of Fire 2d10 (16) Fire
Silver Cone of Cold 2d8 (14) Cold

A line is always 5ft high, 5 ft wide and 60ft long.
A cone is always 30ft long.

Sorry for hijacking this thread,
Cya:D
