Anyone knows a decent build for a two-weapon built for fighter? one that utilized improved criticals to get the lowest crit range and still do massive damage?

Tiger Claw focused Warblade. That doesn't waste feats on the TWF tree.
one that utilized improved criticals to get the losest crit range and still do massive damage?
Crit-fishing sucks. Too many things are immune to crits.

But either Psychic Weapon Master or Disciple of Dispater get crit range bonuses. Use Resin Kukris. Be rogered over the second an undead shows up. That's the ToB-less path.

First, I need to make this clear: Two-Weapon fighting is BAD. REALLY bad. You take penalties to hit for lowered damage. It's a bad deal, plain and simple. Furthermore, crit-fishing sucks because a huge number of enemies are either immune or have easy access to immunity to crits. Basically, crit-fishing just doesn't work. In melee, your bread and butter is power attack. That's where your damage comes from. TWF, using one-handed weapons and taking penalties to hit, actively makes you weaker. The TWF tree is a massive feat tax, which makes it even worse.

That aside, Tiger Claw is awesome, and at a good number of the multi-attack boosts and maneuvers are compatible with two-handed weapons, as removing your hand is a free action, and it explicitly allows you to punch someone when not wielding a second weapon. Plus, you'd be a warblade, and so an actually good class, with options and cool toys and the like.

What weapon are you TWFing with that deals 1d8 damage?

Most TWF eligible weapons deal 1d6 or 1d4 damage. Assuming you dual wield short swords, you deal 2d6 damage assuming both hit.

This is the same damage as that of a greatsword, only the greatsword wielder does not have a -2 penalty on his attack rolls, has higher strength, and can Power Attack for more damage.

I don't understand . Surely 2x(1d8) per round is better than 1d8 per round?
Nope. See, let's say we're a level 3 human fighter, despite how terrible that is, just to keep things simple. We have an eighteen in strength. If we're using two d6 weapons, that makes our damage 2d6+6, but we have to make two attack rolls at -2. Now if we're using a greatsword with nothing else, we're at 2d6+6 on a higher attack bonus, but if we add on the same -2 penalty as power attack bonus, it turns to 2d6+10*. This gap gets bigger and bigger the more sources are allowed and the higher level we get.

All of this is before any power attack multipliers or whatnot, which is why I chose level 3, and it's ignoring the fact that a TWF character will have trouble having Str 18 because they have prereqs to bother with. Do you follow what I'm saying?

*This is actually really bad, but I was keeping things simple. Were I trying, and even restricted to core, I'd have about 2d6+18 damage an attack, but that's beside the point.

lol Honestly I personally Like the thought of duel wielding, I currently have a lvl 3 fighter My DM let me create-a-race so i build one more geared towards fighting. the best I could. Right now I have a two weapon fighter with two Rhoka's. I plan later on getting improved crit, I currently have weapon focus for it and the rhoka's have gotten to become masterwork. so that alone had completely negated the -2/-2 well my DM also allowed me for one of my ferats to have 3.5 Oversized two-weapon fighting from 3.5 as well. I dont plan on going into all the critical bleed and :):):):) like that. I jut want to maximize my crit ratio while doing as much as possible with two rhoka's . I was fishing for Idea's that could help. My fighter's already down the path of two weapon fighting and their no turning back now. Note. I also realized that I posted this in D&D 3.5 instead of pathfinder x.x sorry guys I was dead tired last night.
