So... any romantic gaming gifts that the board suggests to give to your gaming honey? (Gifts for men or women, if that matters....)

After all, Valentine's Day is rapidly approaching!

My wife hates gaming so anything NOT gaming works for us.

Keep it simple- roses (or favorite flowers), chocolates, dinner and a quiet night. Gaming and non- gaming girls/women like this.

This year for Valentine's Day we are eating out at a favorite resturant, going to Grease and maybe have a few drinks afterwards. Simple but resources are short currently.

Uh-oh. :\ :p

yep - time for panic mode! ;)

i get paid on the 15th and our bank account is already overdrawn. :\

It's a long distance relationship, so I'm driving up to surprise her.

Good gift? :D

If she didn't already have one, I'd get her a customized dice bag from the Gamer's Bag. (Now both of us and the kids each have one).

Back when we had a weekly (intense) vampire chronicle going, I gave her a solo session that gave her the opportunity to acquire a point of influence behind the scenes. She loved it.

Well, if you are crunched for cash, why not do something simple? Like cook a nice (but inexpensive) meal, maybe with the main course shaped like a heart or something.

Or make fancy dessert! Get a bag of those dove chocolate hearts, the dark kind. chop up about 8oz of those. Get a small container of heavy cream. Heat it up with some vanilla, tiny bit of cinnamon, tinier bit of cayenne pepper*, and for extra happiness, a shot of good espresso or brewed coffee. pour over the chopped chocolate and stir until melted and smooth. Give it a good vigorous mix and let it cool. when it's set, scoop out balls like you're making cookies, shape between your palms quickly, and roll in cocoa powder or powdered sugar. OR, melt the rest of the dove hearts and dip. Voila! Homemade truffles to die for.

*cayenne pepper powder goes in EVERYTHING. Just a tiny tiny bit. not enough to taste spicy, but it will really enhance the chocolate.

...now I'm wanting chocolate. Maybe this will be my valentine's gift to me.
