Type/Subtype Question

Probably a fairly easy answer to this, I'm just unsure myself how it should work.
I'm making a Shield Dwarf and I'm adding the Shadow Creature template (Lords of Madness, p. 168) and have a question about how to apply the type/subtype.

The template says the type/size is unchanged, but continues to say creatures found on the material plane have the extraplanar subtype and are native to the shadow plane.

So how should my type look?
Humanoid [Dwarf/Extraplanar]
or
Dwarf [Extraplanar]?

If it's the humanoid/extraplanar combo, would this make me susceptible to spells and effects that target both humans and outsiders (hold person, charm monster, banish, etc)?

Thanks in advance!

When you are at the material plane (or any other plane except from the Plane of Shadow) you are Humanoid (Extraplanar) and when you are in the Plane of Shadow you are Humanoid (Native).

If it's the humanoid/extraplanar combo, would this make me susceptible to spells and effects that target both humans and outsiders (hold person, charm monster, banish, etc)?
No, it's an other thing to be an outsider and an other to be extraplanar.

Extraplanar: A subtype applied to any creature when it is on a plane other than its native plane.
