Does this mean that there is nothing cool coming out next year? I mean that they must get a heads up or something from Wizards with what the line up is.

I think it means they like money: as previously noted, Tyranny of Dragons sold like hotcakes for years.

Hoard of the Dragon Queen was the first one right? Then ... Tyranny of Dragons was the higher level follow-up? Or was Tyranny of Dragons the combo adventure they put out a few years ago? Or was that called Tyranny of the Dragon Queen? I remember they combined titles for the combo reprint.

Hoard of the Dragon Queen and Rise of Tiamat. Combined, they form the Tyranny of Dragons campaign.

The whole "storyline" is Tyranny of Dragons: the original two books were Hlard of the Dragon Queen and Rise of Tiamat. The combined book published for the Campaign's fifth anniversary was simply titled Tyranny of Dragons.
