You consider 4 pages of material on an entire country a "deep dive" of that country...?
Okay.
By the standards of a FR campaign setting book, I'm comparing it to the SCAG were most got a paragraphy or two at best.

Okay.
As they are going on about it in detail in this interview, I would say it's highly likely...Fingers crossed that the Jabberwock makes it into Witchlight.

Based on reading the AD&D description, I think both are borrowing from AD&D with the Jabberwock here, though I have no doubt that WotC is aware of this design (note the plummagein the 5E version, however, followign the AD&D description).
They're both doing John Tenniel's 1871 illustration, minus the waistcoat.Funny, D&D taking a lot of inspiration from Pathfinder...
Now put the snark in Witchlight, you cowards! As they are going on about it in detail in this interview, I would say it's highly likely...
I appreciate that they made it look a lot like John Tenniel's original artwork. Minus the vest and booties, of course.
I mean, the jabberwock is from a beloved book that's in the public domain, so it's hardly copying from Pathfinder. Heck, the same poem gave us the vorpal sword!
