[ua] six-level damage and healing spells?

Okay, not getting answers in General Discussion, so I thought I'd ask here. My copy of UA shipped from Amazon yesterday, so it'll be a week or so before it gets here...

How does UA suggest handling healing spells, if one uses the six-level damage system?

It takes that long with Amazon?

And what exactly do you mean with six-level damage? If you mean the injury system, then yes, it covers healing spells.

@KaeYoss:

On Amazon, if you spend more than $25 on books and such, you get the option of having them absorb the cost of shipping. This is great, but the downside is that they send it by the cheapest method possible. Thus, I truly don't expect to see it until Feb 28th or Mar 1st.

What was worse is that, since I chose the free shipping, they have a tendency to lump all of the order into one shipment. That means that, if one item of your order isn't in stock in the warehouse they intend to ship from, even if there are hundreds available in other warehouses, they won't ship until it's been received at the originating warehouse.

And, unfortunately, one item on my list went from "ship within 24 hours" to "ship within 2-3 weeks." So that means that I've been forced to wait and wait and wait while all the rest of you have been reading the book. :(

But what the hey, I'm cheap. :)

So good, the injury system does cover the effect of healing spells. How does it handle them? For instance, if you're injured up to the third injury slot, would a simple "cure light wounds" spell have any effect?

amazon.de, while being quite slow (and not the cheapest to boot) with D&D-Material, has at least the policy that they send every order of 20? or more free of charge. They have AFAIK only one mode of delivery, but that's quick enough (usually take 1-3 days to deliver).

But prefer to order at my FOGS, who also sends free of charge (but the orders have to be at least 20?), they get the stuff quite early, ship almost as fast as amazon.de (use the same delivery service), and are the cheapest all around.
