Limited Spell Choices (Basically, cut major flashy spells)

All EQUALS

A pretty darn good Middle Earth d20.

Sure, why not? It's pretty good at a lot of literary worlds, though -- nothing about it just screams Middle-earth, if that's what you're asking.

But, sure, it works a heck of a lot better than vanilla D&D.

A fairly generic, middle-of-the-road fantasy RPG.

A pretty darn good Middle Earth d20.
Well, maybe that too, since ME pretty much defines "generic" and "middle-of-the-road" for a lot of people, it seems.
