None. There might be good ones for different concepts, but there's no universal one. Are you interested in a two-weapon fighting rogue, a ranged attacker rogue (and bow users will differ from throwing weapon users), a stealthy rogue, a socially skilled rogue, or any other?

As others have said, it depends on what sort of rogue you want to go for. Depending on what you want to specialise in there are many different builds that you could make.

Well a nice idea (though slightly cheesy), is to really pump a lot of ranks into use magic device. Then use any touch spell wand to deliver sneak attack. As long as it's an atk roll spell, you get SA, so you can use something like a wand of scorching ray: flat footed, touch spell, so you're hitting a 10 to deliver 4d6 plus SA. You can even use a cheap little wand of acid splash, only a d3, but you're doing a ton of SA damage. Throw in some invisibility potions, and you're good to go.

Invisibility potions for a UMD monkey?! No way!

Throw in a Wand of Invisibility and a Wand of Greater Invisibility. Much cheaper in the long term! And you know a nice wand shop anyway, you may even have a discount there. :)

Use wands of vampiric touch. Touch attack + temp hit points + no chance of resist energy/protection from energy throwing a wrench in the works.

If item availability is at your disposal, at least at 12th level character creation, you might consider the dual wand wielder feats, use the 'off hand' wand to turn invisible again after the first wand attack. Of course the ring/wand of blink might be cheaper, you only loose 20% of the spells instead of 50% (penalty for dual wand use).
