Its all about firepower, except for Batman. Mike Lowery has guns and so does Dirty Harry. Batman doesnt need them. Those three win easily.

I suppose having a mix of gunslingers and melee fighters isn't best but I'm not sure a gun will win out every time. It depends on who has the initiative.

See are we talking D&D stile rules or ready set go real life? Is it a Big open arena or are there hallways and cover? Lots of variables. I just think hardware wins in the end in most cases.
