(Un)Hallow question.

I have a question concerning these spells:

1.) They have a list of spells that you can affix to this spell. Is that an end all list or are those just examples of the spells you can affix to it. Could you for instance affix Righteous Wrath of the Faithful (DotF) on it or Energy Immunity (T&B)?

It was my impression that it was the end all list. However, obviously some spells from later supplements couldn't have been in the list at the time of the PHB printing, so if you wanted to add those I'd say talk to your DM.

What we noticed at our last game is why is Bless and Aid in the list? Aid is bless + 1d8 hitpoints, so you would ALWAYS use Aid instead of Bless wouldn't you?

Re: bless vs. aid -- a notable difference is that the added spell cost is doubly expensive (1,000 gp vs. 2,000 gp)
