Just a quick geek question: Does anyone know how far the Galactica can jump with it's FTL?

Unfortunately for the Geek in everyone in us, the answer is (and will probably always be): as far as the writers need it to.

The good thing for us: We will rarely see them contradict something they said previously, or make the whole plot technically absurd...

-Who broke Keira's fingers when she was young?
-Are the Centurions/Raiders at all sentient?
-Tigh said in the one of the episodes that he "had seen this before" refering to a tactic the Cylons used in regards to blowing up the ship. Is he old enough to have experienced the first Cylon war?
-AAAH my brain froze and I can't remember any of the other questions I had in mind.

Piecing together from the first and second seasons (Episodes Flesh and Bone and The Farm), it was her mother.

-Are the Centurions/Raiders at all sentient?

I think this was already stated on screen by Boomer (now: Athena). They are not sentient. Raiders are very similar to pets, and Centurions are even designed to never gain sentience.

That's where Tigh and Adama know each other originally - they served in the first war, and Tigh was one of the few people to ever fight Cylon hand to hand (And here is me hoping he will do it again, maybe in the last episode of BSG when Galactica is defending the newfound Earth against a Cylon invasion, or something like that)

Centurions have a fatal flaw built into them. If you hit them on the bottom part of their chin, their head pops up and they deactivate themselves.

Unfortunately, I must admit, it is not something shown on TV. It was something Ron Moore said during a podcast (I think it was to Valley of Darkness - if that is the episode where Cylons boarded the Galactica). As such, it might be subject to change, but it is a character trait they played upon in that episode. Tigh was one of the few aboard who would know the Cylon tactics first hand...

And I agree, Tigh duking it out with a Centurion (even if Tigh dies in the end) is an awesome image. I think it is one of the few scenes I'd like Moore and Eick to copy from my brain and put to screen (after serious re-editing to improve the quality of the picture )

What makes you think the last five Cylons are the lead characters? Or do you mean they were just familiar representations of the 4 Cylons?

Discovering that the leading characters on the Galactica were all Cylons would be as bad of a "twist" as discovering that the whole thing was Bobby Ewing's dream and finishing out the season with episodes of Dallas. Moore and Eick and co are smarter than that.
