Unapproachable East --- someone scored a copy!

I wonder how such a long lived race can have such species deviation? It seems that elves split up into subraces every time they live in a different area... Live in the woods, they become a wood elf. Live underground, they're dark elves now. Eat a tuna sandwich, and they become tuna sandwich elves.

And I've found a new sig file....

let us not forgot the FR spin on the sea devils:rolleyes:

if you read enough into every race of monster is derived from the elfs (elves, just for SKR ) .:p

3.5 content?

Enough about the other white meat ... there's supposedly a list of changes to monster types in 3.5 in Unapprochable East. What are the changes to our other foes?

What say we move this discussion [about UE, not "too many elves"] to Morrus's "UE Questions Answered" thread. since he actually has a copy of the book?

Remember Deep Elves from "The Night Below"?

They were subterrarean, real tall, true neutral, and didn't have any clerics.
Never heard them referred to as anything but Rockseer elves.

Oh, and I'm hoping the Star Elves are the IEN elves from Spelljammer.

As to the discussion about elven subrace proliferation, I think most of those could be done with appropriate regions instead of new subraces.
